Rise Course Folder Management
I have a team account and our dashboard is very full. We have created folders and moved courses to those folders, but the original courses still appear in the dashboard.
Deleting from the dashboard also deletes from the folder.
How can we manage our courses in dashboard and folders ?

Hi all! Thanks for following up and requesting this feature! We hear all your sentiments and I'll let the team know about it. If we have an update for you all, I'll share it here in this thread.

I would like to tag on that it would be great to be able to create sub folders and to change your default view. Opening up to all courses is annoying if you have hundreds. An example is that I go into a folder to pull up a project. I work on it and then go back to pull the next one from that folder but I am back in all courses and I have to go to access the folder I was just in. It would also be great to have an archive folder for all of our previous projects that are done but you want to be able to access at a later date if needed. Lastly, a search function. Being able to narrow down your search when trying to find a previous project would be extremely helpful.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this feature, Miranda! We've taken note of this and we'll share it here in this thread if we make any changes that will help. You're in the right place!

I have to completely agree with Miranda. It is overwhelming and messy when you have to see every single module you have worked on staring you in the face. Working for a large healthcare organization means I have numerous subgroups: clinical nursing, clinical physician, clinical hospital setting, clinical non-hospital setting, regulatory, compliance, non clinical, etc. Sometimes I have people reach out about very speciic questions regarding a module and a search bar would be most helpful to finding modules quickly as well. I am looking forward to having you make this modification.

Hi - agreed here,
It can be overwhelming to look at the long master list of courses if you manage multiple sets of training, and you cannot tell from this view which training sits in a folder.
Even adding a small tag on the course to say which folder it's in would be an improvement. - SteveFleming-PrCommunity Member
Please add my company to the feature request if that helps prioritize it!

Also add my company to the feature request - we have a growing list of courses and it is becoming difficult to manage without a common view of folders. Having individual views is not as helpful.
Given this thread is now 3 years old, what is the ETA on getting an update addressing this issue? And if no movement, what will it take to prioritize it?

I just posted a very similar request. My team has developed easily 200+ Rise-based assets, since our instructors are such a fan of the straightforward UX when teaching through zoom and subsequently our self-guided materials get built in rise as well since the learners are so familiar with the format. My dashboard is such a mess since I don't know what is or isn't in a folder!

The problem hasn't really been solved correct?
My team and I are actually wondering how to have a better organisation in our rise dashboard.
