Saving issues

Good Morning,

 

I am have been having saving issues when trying to save story files. I work in a development team of three.

We are all using the updated versions and I am the only one having these issues.

 

When I try to save a storyfile it pops a message up saying It cant save because it is open in another process, when it is not.

It forces me to save a duplicate ten tells me it has been edited by another user when it as not.

 

How can I fix this?

    I am also having saving issues - "ParentContainerClosed"  keeps popping up and I am losing lots of content.

    Hi Murray,

    I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue, but I'm happy to help troubleshoot!

    • Are you able to select Save As and save your project in a different location? I've seen other users get this error when they're saving their files to a network drive, so saving locally is always best. 
    • Another tip is to make sure the Storyline file name is under the 260-character limit and avoid using special characters, accents, or symbols as well.
