Shape Image Fill causing Storyline to bug and lag... again

Hello all,

I've found this post from 2018 about slides with image backgrounds causing Storyline to go very slowly. It was fixed with an update.

I've started having a similar problem with shapes using images as fills. They cause Articulate to lag horribly, to the point that it's unusual. I tried reinstalling, no change. I took the shapes with image fills out of my project, and it was immediately working fine. My version is up to date.

    If your background images are not well optimized and are large in file size, it can cause issues described in your post.

    Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at why your images are causing Storyline 360 to slow down? We'll delete it when we're done testing!
