Skip the Into Page > Immediately Start Course
We are working with a large corporation that hosts the rise modules on their internal LMS system.
Here is an example of one of the assets we created.
With some hacks we have been able to add "share this" functionality to the site. We want our users to share what they have learned with the outside world. Part of this would be creating "Teasers" of the rise modules that would sit on the open web, for anybody to view. These teasers would then direct them to the portal where they can signup and pay for the course etc.
Here is an example of our "teaser"

I want to use the mapping tool option as an item someone could share. HOWEVER. I don't think in this use case we need to have them "Continue" or "Start Course" - I really just want them to come directly to the first lesson.
So that it's the first thing they view. Is something like that possible, has anybody come across a hack that would accomplish this?

Hi everyone,
we're making a lot of xAPI-courses without the Intro page (changed launch page in the tincan.xml).
I just discovered that skipping that page causes Rise to not send passed-statements to the LMS. Has anyone made this work in their LMS? Which LMS was it?- AbiMorrisCommunity Member
what are passed-statements?

Maybe change to 80% completion when exporting ? Or make storyline quiz for completion objective ? Could you share your hack in tincan ? How does it work ?

I know this post is several months old now, but I would also like to add my name to the feature request list. The intro page is essentially redundant and an unnecessary extra click for users.

This would be especially nice when using Rise for a very simple course that only has one lesson. l want to use it for a 2 item quiz for example.

I also want to skip the intro page! It's redundant in my LMS.

Adding to this thread to be on the list to be altered when this feature is available. Often wish to miss the "start course" page. Thanks.
Thanks for adding your voices, folks! We'll update you here with any changes.

It would be grate to have a workaround on this:-)

I'd also be interested in skipping the Start Page. We want users to be able to search immediately after accessing the Rise. The Start Page prevents access to the Search function initially, forcing users to "start" the course first.
Thanks for your input, Reggie!

add me to this list as well. Greater ability to customize the initial landing page is critical for engagement and branding.
