SL file is behaving abnormally
Does opening and editing the same SL file corrupt it? I have been noticing random behavior in the file on publishing it. Interactivity, functionality keeps getting changed on its own. Has any else faced it?

Simply opening a Storyline 360 project file shouldn't cause it to become corrupted. There are a few factors that contribute to a file becoming corrupted, and this article lists the most common reasons as well as how to avoid them:
If you're already working locally, I'd recommend doing a repair of your Storyline 360 installation to see if this helps address the functionality issues that you've been experiencing.
