Slide layer does not open after timeline reaches cue point
- 20 days ago
Hi tweline,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing the screenshot! I understand that the slide layer does not open when the timeline reaches the cue point you've set.
Curious about this behavior, I created the attached Storyline course with cue points and layers to replicate the issue. I found that the layer does not open when viewed via timeline preview, but it does show when previewed using the Player's preview button. I prepared a screen recording of my tests for you.
If your project does not execute the Show Layer trigger, even with the Player's preview button, we'd be happy to investigate further. Would you be willing to share your Storyline file with us so we can examine how the other course elements are set up? You may also share it privately by sending it along in a support case. We'll delete it when we're done testing.
Hello Eric,
Apologies for the late reply, somehow I didn't get a notification from your answer.
When I tested this morning again the cue points did work in my project, I guess it had something to do with me not watching the entire video but jumping a few minutes ahead in the timeline when testing.
Thank you for thinking along:)
