Storyline 360 Translation and Google Drive (Google Workspace) Issue

Our company has recently switched from Microsoft to Google.

Our translation process for Storyline has always been:

1. Export to Word
2. Machine translation (google translate based)
3. Send for regional personnel review
4. Import Word

The accuracy for re-importing in this way is usually 275/300 lines of translation through the Storyline import process.

However, now that we no longer have Microsoft and are sharing files for review over Google Drive, the has been reduced to 70/300 lines of translation. Even though the document is still in .docx through the sharing, Google must be doing some reformatting that is breaking the import rules.

Have you encountered this? Have you been able to solve this?
