Storyline Course Only Saves Progress to a Certain Point
Hello everyone,
My storyline course has been uploaded into our company's LMS (Seismic Learning). The course saves progress for learners until a specific slide, then it either resets or backtracks to an older slide.
If the learner is able to finish the module in one sitting, it's fine, but if the learner needs to exit the course and go back in, it either reemerges on an older slide (when published as SCORM 2.1), not showing true saved progress, or completely starts over (when published as SCORM 2004), not even asking the learner to resume even though that setting is turned on.
How can I ensure the course will save true progress in case learners need to exit and reenter the course?
*I can't upload any files due to company PPI policies*

It's fairly common that a SCORM 1.2 course resumes at the earlier point than where the user left the course. That's because SCORM 1.2 has a very low limit for the suspend/resume data. (For more info: https://access.articulate.com/support/article/exceeding-scorm-suspend-data-limits )
SCORM 2004 has a much higher limit. If the Player's resume options are set to always resume or to ask to resume, the course should resume where the user left off.
Double-check your publishing settings. Then test the course in the SCORM Cloud ( How to Troubleshoot Your LMS with SCORM Cloud | Articulate - Community ).
- If it works in the SCORM Cloud, there could be some setting in the company's LMS that's interfering with the suspend/resume data.
- If it doesn't work there, I suggest you contact Articulate support: https://access.articulate.com/support/contact
