Good news! In Storyline 360 (Build 3.85.31840.0), you can now instantly update the formatting of all slide notes in your project.
From here, all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app!

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know that you've run into this issue as well.
Just to confirm you're seeing what we have reported, you're:
- Importing slides from PowerPoint with standard black notes.
- Using the Modern Player with the light theme in Storyline 360.

I'm editing a Storyline 3 file that someone else previously imported from a
PowerPoint file, so I don't know anything about the original PowerPoint
file, and can't go back to it to make any changes.
