Storyline player seek bar

Hi Nitesh, 

I'm not clear on how you've added a slider to your screen recordings? Click-and-drag events—such as dragging a scroll bar—aren't interactive in step-by-step screen recordings.

However, other actions—like clicking and typing—are interactive, so you'll be able to test learners on these actions.

The screen recording will turn all the clicks and typing into their individual slide elements, so that is why you may see something over a number of slides and you could look at manually adjusting the slides or removing those that are extraneous.

I think I know what you are talking about.  You would like to place a slider on multiple slides, but have them all be "one" slide.  There is a way.  Just point them all to the same variable. They should all move to the same step from the previous slide. 

I think Nitesh may be referring to the player seek bar located in the Player interface.

Yes Brian, I am referring to the player seek bar. is there any way to create a single seek bar for the whole scene?

Ashley or Jerson may know of a way that I'm not familiar with, but from my experience it is not possible to customize the player seek bar this way.

No way to create the player seekbar to account for the entire scene or course - it's on a slide by slide basis. It may be something you're able to do with the Storyline SDK, but that's not something that we can offer support for.

I came across this discussion as I was looking for the answer to this same question. I wanted to have a seek bar for an entire scene instead of a separate seek bar per slide.  Since this discussion was 6 years, I wanted to check if there's any update on whether this is possible. Thanks!
