Storyline Quiz Review - Is the Incorrect/Correct message editable?
Just watched Jeannette's great screenr on creating customized Quiz Review slides. In addition to this customization, is there a way to move/edit the "Incorrect" and "Correct" text rectangle that appears at the bottom of each review slide? I don't think it was customizable in Studio Quizmaker, but maybe it is in Storyline? Thanks!

Hi Ashley,Thanks for responding. I guess I didn't do a good job of explaining. There is a trigger set to send it back to the beginning, but I'm having a problem with the default review features (green bar for correct/ red bar for incorrect along with checkmark) showing up when I set up an additional button (besides review quiz- which sends me back to the first quiz question) to allow the user to go back to the beginning of the course after taking the quiz. When the trigger I set for that button returns them to the beginning (post taking the quiz), it doesn't show the default features on the review slide (green/red bar), but it does show the additional features I placed on the review layer (custom navigation buttons).
Default features I am referring to:
The two places I have created a return to content button are on the Success layer of the Results Slide and the /Last Final Slide. I've considered placing it only on the final slide, but the issues still exists.
I just tried creating a trigger on the quiz question slide that shows the review layer when the timeline starts with a condition (if Results.ScorePoints is Greater than or equal to Results.PassPoints) but it is still only showing the review layer with my additional features (the navigation buttons) and not the default (green/red bar, checkmark).
In testing, If I go through the scene, pass the quiz, and select the review quiz button (before selecting return to content), it shows the default features (green/red bar, checkmark) and my addition features on the review layer. After reviewing all questions I return to the results slide or final slide, I can select the return to content button I created which send the user back to the beginning of the course and once you arrive at the quiz you are able to see the default features (along with my additional features) on the review layer. Not sure what I'm missing.

Hi M.W.,
I may need to look at your Storyline file to understand this set up, as I'm a bit confused about conflicting statements in your last post that "When the trigger I set for that button returns them to the beginning (post taking the quiz), it doesn't show the default features on the review slide (green/red bar), but it does show the additional features I placed on the review layer" but then later you said in your testing that "select the review quiz button (before selecting return to content), it shows the default features (green/red bar, checkmark) and my addition features on the review layer."
Is the behavior inconsistent, or is there something off in your description?
Also, I'm assuming you'd like the default features and your custom features to be include on the Quiz Review and on the Content review?

Ashley,
The behavior is inconsistent, and yes I would like the default and custom features to appear at the same time using both buttons. Is there a way I can send my file to you securely?
On a note that may be related, I have recently been notified that there is an updated version to Storyline, but I didn't want to update while I was working on a project. Could some of the issues been resolved in that fix, and if so, would updating storyline cause issues since I am in the middle of a project? I usually avoid upgrades until I have a break between projects.
Thanks,
Martelle Hi Martelle,
Do you know what update of Storyline you're using? We're currently on update 5.
If you're concerned about updating what I would do is make a copy of your project (save as) and once you complete the update, use the new copy and see if the behavior continues. If so, let me know and I'll send you directions on how to to share the file with me privately. If something occurs during the update with your new file, you'll have a previous version that hasn't been used with update 5 to revert back to.

Thanks for your help Ashley,
I am currently running on an older version (4). Due to time constraints and the possibility of have to revert back to 4 if it does create issues, I may hold off on using this feature and test it at a later point.
Thanks,
Martelle Hi M.W.,
If you'd like, I'm still happy to take a look at your project and can test it in update 5. I'll send you directions on how to share it with me.

You can overlay that with a shape colored as your background color but it's not an editable item at this point.
Hi Steve,I'm struggling to grasp exactly what you have proposed here. How exactly, do you get the layer to appear after the quiz has completed?
Thanks,
Laurence
Hi Laurence,
When setting up a quiz question you'll see that there are some layers at the bottom of the Question Edit window for Correct, Incorrect and Review layers - if you add any content to the Review section you'll see a new layer automatically created allowing you to add the elements for covering up the built in Correct/Incorrect feedback banner during the review. Here is an additional tutorial to walk you through how to set this up.

Hi Ashley,
I can change the review slide and i can also change the color of the review slide without trigger.
Hi Reena,
Was there something specific you needed assistance with?
