Superscripts in Rise Course Title?
I wanted to ask the community whether anyone has had success adding superscript text to a course title in Rise?
I get asked about this more or less every time one of my Rise courses is reviewed and it would be great to be able to give my clients what they want here.
It's one of those things that I'm sure isn't straight-forward for the Rise dev team (otherwise it would be in?) but looks as though it should be from a client perspective.

Have you tried to paste it in? - When I paste text with superscript it keeps the formating

Yes I have tried this. Out of interest, which font are you using for your titles?

I use our own custom font

I can get superscripts in regular text if I paste in from word, but not in a section or lesson title.
Hi Ole, David and Kelly-Anne,
I know a few folks were able to copy/paste from Word or use the Unicode characters for those symbols. Have you tested out the Unicode symbols as well (you can often just Google the symbol you're looking for)?

Inserting the Unicode is the key - then you can copy and paste from Word.

I can't find a superscript ® in unicode and copying and pasting in to the course title from Word doesn't work either.
I'd be extremely grateful if anyone can share either a unicode for this or an example in Rise that I can copy and paste from.

Hi David, I know exactly what you mean! We also need to have the ® (alt0174) superscripted. I can change it by applying the style in the ordinary text areas in Rise, but don't have that option in Titles, Tabs, etc. Our legal department is not happy with this....
I found unicode for the ® (U+00AE) but it didn't work for me in the titles etc. This site had the information https://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/00ae/index.htm

I double checked online, and a superscript version of ® does not exist in unicode unfortunately, so I don't think there is any way to finagle this. We really just need the text editor feature to be available for titles, even if it is just with a more limited set of options.

Any update from Articulate or the community on being able to [easily] do this?
Hi Caroline,
Our team has a feature request logged for this capability. I don't have any updates at this time but I'll make sure your voice gets added to the discussion.

Thanks, Allison. That's good to know. Does this mean it will be implemented eventually?

Any word on whether this functionality is coming anytime soon?

Hi Matt. We don't have an update to share on this feature just yet. We're keeping tabs on this request and will share updates with you here when we have them.

Adding myself to this string for the updates. I need a superscript ® as well. I have seen requests for this feature for the last two years! Will this happen any time soon? I have several clients who I cannot use Rise for simply because we can't put the superscript ® in the title.
Thanks for checking in, Whitney! While adding subscripts/superscripts to Rise 360 course titles isn't on our immediate roadmap, we're still listening to these requests.
We'll let you know if we add this feature in the future!

Putting myself on this thread as well. I echo this need for subscript/superscripts in the Rise 360 course titles. We are out of compliance for many of our departments training modules built in Rise.

Following. This is something my legal department is requiring as well.
