Teams slide object sizes changed

I created a template in storyline and uploaded the project via teams slide.  I am making another project now and when I import the team slides... images on the slides have changed size, boxes and shapes are in the wrong place.  Has anyone else had this issue?

I also just noticed that my player has different colors... and the gradient on my progress bar uses different colors than what I created.

  • One issues I found using team slides is the formatted size. Make sure both are set to the same slide size. I had a long talk with a manager to find out their slide size was not the same as mine. When I imported their slides, everything changed.

  • Hi Sarah,

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're running into this issue! In addition to Eric's suggestion of checking the slide size, I'm curious if this is happening across multiple files or just a specific one. If this issue is isolated to one slide, can you try importing it into a new Storyline project first, then try again?

If the issue persists, please let our Support team know. They'll work with you 1:1 to ensure your course is up and running in no time!

  • Thanks for the comment, the first thing I checked was slide size, and both were set to be the same.  The color changes of the player are also strange.

  • Thanks all!  I have submitted a case, as importing from my template files has also created the same result.  I'm sure I am making a mistake somewhere...

  • So I actually was wrong, I had checked the wrong file and my slide size is not the same as my final project I based my template off of. I am unsure why the slide size had changed, and when I try to change my project slide size... now there is a giant white space around all my content.  Do I need to create this project from scratch to adjust the sizing or is there a fix?
