Text Entry Fields Reset
Is there away to allow text entry fields to reset to their default, "Type your answer here..." state? Even with slides set to "Reset to initial state", the text entry fields remain populated with whatever text the user input live.

I did not find any solution in the above solutions or example.
Actually I have lots of slides with lots of text boxes, and I want to reset them with very less effort. Is there any solution for it, except adding trigger one by one for each text box? Can we do this multiple task with external JavaScript code?
Hi Salim! The solutions here look to be the best, and JavaScript is not something I'm savvy at nor can I help support. Hopefully someone in the community will be able to chime in and assist with this.

Hi Salim,
A text entry doesn't have states - so perhaps instead you could look at adding a shape surrounding the text entry that initially has a state of hidden? You could change it's state to normal based on the user interaction you mentioned and then just ensure that the shape's normal state is transparent so that the user can still see the text entry box, but just can no longer click within it.

I have created a text entry question and select the "Answers are case sensitive" option and put correct answer as "Rakesh". But while I attempting the question and enter a space after "Rakesh" like "Rakesh ". If shows correct option, while it should be incorrect. So can you please let me the solution for this asap.

Hi Rakesh!
You should not be able to enter a space after the correct answer. Check out this sample I made, and try entering a space after "Rakesh". You'll see the incorrect layer.
Can you check to ensure you did not include a space in the "Acceptable Answers" area?

Thanks for sharing the sample. I am using Storyline 2. It is working on storyline 360. Also can you please confirm that if this is working in Storyline 3.

I can confirm that this isn't working correctly in Storyline 2 (the extra space is accepted as correct).
However, it is working correctly in Storyline 3, just the same as Storyline 360.

I have checked the flash output of storyline 3 and 360 and it is not working while it is working on html5 output. so can you please confirm this, if this is not working on swf output.
