Text placeholder on master doesn't retain formatting
I'm trying to add a text placeholder with call caps and expanded formatting on a master layout, but when I click away from the text box, it reverts to a default, non-formatted text. My only option is to place a slide in my template and format the actual slide, which is not ideal.
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks.
Hi Scorpion Command,
I'm sorry to hear you're hitting this snag! I ran some tests, and the problem is not happening. Here's a quick Peek recording of my tests, so you can also confirm if I'm doing the reproduction steps correctly.
I'm happy to help troubleshoot. We can start by checking if you're working on your local drive; working on a network drive can cause erratic behavior. If the problem still happens, try running these steps to repair Storyline.
We'd be glad to investigate further if the problem persists. You may share your Storyline project here or privately in a support case so we can take a look!

I can change font and size and that works. In this instance, if I apply
All Caps in the font settings, that does not take, nor does setting it to
expanded by 3 pt.Here's a demo:
