Text-Speech random volume change
Hello there,
I am perplexed by my audio issue. I have a TTS that gradually gets louder as it plays out. The volume controls have not been changed from default, and on medium. I have not gone in and actively changed anything, just simply typed in the TTS and insert that way.
When opening the audio control, it is not visually obvious that there is a volume increase either.
Any one know why it is doing this?
Many Thanks

Hi Jessica,
Sorry to hear that you ran into this issue.
We're not seeing this issue reported by other users so the incident appears to be isolated. Please try repairing your Storyline 360 installation as a troubleshooting step to see if this helps.
If the issue persists, please test the behavior on a new project file or using a different set of text. If the behavior is consistent regardless of the entered text, please open a case with our support team here so we can check what's happening. If the issue is only happening to a certain combination of words, would you mind sharing a copy of the project file here for testing?

I just had this issue with a project. Using TTS and the same voice, no change to default settings, and sometime the volume is radically louder. Even on same slide with multiple audio clips.

This is the voice where I see this happening.
Hello ColinWhitworth-,
Thanks for reaching out! I tested this on my end and am not experiencing any drastic change in volume when using Danielle's voice.
- Have you tried a repair of Storyline 360 as my colleague Jose recommended earlier in the thread?
As a troubleshooting step, I recommend importing your existing project file into a brand new .story file to see if that resolves this issue with the volume.
If you still have this volume issue after a repair and importing, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your .story file. It would also be helpful to have a screen recording of this volume change in action. You can share your materials in this thread or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
