The Undo button doesn't make sense
This is more so intended to be feedback for Articulate Storyline, but it just makes zero sense to me.
Here's an example: I deleted an object and moved another object a little higher to the deleted object's previous position. Then I decided I wanted the deleted object back. Instead of immediately reappearing upon clicking the undo button or maybe after a couple undos or maybe 5 or maybe 10, this other object just retraces pixel by pixel to the previous point...before the undo button is out of undos and I can't get my deleted object back because Storyline seems to think it's important enough to retrace pixel by pixel.
Can't there be more significant retracing so that this tool is useful in a lot more cases?

Most apps save not the results, but your actions. So it makes sense that if you move the object by pixels (as opposed to just dragging it all at once), any app will undo your individual separate actions.
To be fair, SL is pretty much on the low end of capacity for how many steps it saves. And it would be really nice to be able to call up a list of actions, and undo a bunch of them all at once.
Hello Edward!
This is helpful feedback! We have a feature request that includes what you've mentioned about the Undo behavior. I've added your comments so we can update you if this makes it on our feature roadmap.

I'll add my voice to this - it drives me mad and can't quite believe it doesn't lots of other people as well - given that the undo does seem to treat every little pixel move as a separate action (not necessarily a bad thing), we need to be able to undo larger chunks of actions in one go, but also go WAY further back in terms of number of steps.

I would also like to add to this conversation (though I know it's old). It would be extremely helpful if you could view the undo/redo actions, like you can in Microsoft Word, for example. So if I hover over the undo button, I can see the action I'm about to undo (i.e. "undo move object/undo type XYZ/undo add shape").

I have just realized that a description does pop up when you hover over the buttons. However, I still think it'd be helpful if it were a little more clear. Many of my undo/redo actions are "undo hidden change" which feels a bit cryptic. Thank you!
