Topbar - Can I turn items off on specific slides?

I know I can go into the slide properties on a slide and turn on and off the side bar items - How about the top bar items?  I have a few mandatory slides I need learners to view before proceeding through the course - and we have a main menu button up there I want to turn off for a few slides until they view them - then it can come back on...doable? or not?

    You can turn off the built-in Player Features via the Slide Properties:

    Note: If you add custom tabs to the Player, those will appear on all slides. They can't be turned off.
