Undo option?
I don't know if I missed it, but if there isn't one already, Rise really needs an "undo" option. I just accidentally deleted text from a course I was reviewing and it took forever to find the original text to restore it. A simple undo option would have saved a lot of time.
Thanks, Blanca! We always love to see and hear more ideas on ways in which we can look at improving Rise, so these are all good things to share. You can always share your ideas here in the ELH forums, and you also have the option to send them along to our Product team in the form of a feature request. Thanks for being a part of this community!
This is all really great feedback, thank you! We always appreciate hearing how we can look at improving Rise, so these are all good things to share. I’m going to forward your thoughts to our product team.
Hi Avril,
We're working on a feature to allow for the labelled graphic lesson as a block, and a few of the other lesson types as blocks as well. We'll keep folks posted here in ELH in regards to the development timeline on that!
The Undo option appears once you delete a section or lesson in Rise. Here's a quick Peek recording of how to see that functionality.
Thanks Michael for adding your voice to the conversation!
Hey everyone,
The Command/Control + Z shortcut is a function of the browser, not Rise itself. From my own testing, I'm getting inconsistent results depending on the browser.
I'm really sorry this has been a pain point, and I appreciate you sharing that the Undo feature isn't living up to your expectations. I'm going to share all of this feedback with my team.

erm, kind of?
Command-Z works in other browser-based apps/platforms, so it's not just "the browser". It's how your software talks to the browser, no? (speaking not as a developer, but as a user of countless C+Z-enabled browser-based tools)

great, thank you Alyssa.
Hi Scott,
Custom font colors is something we've got on the roadmap for later this year (custom font styles too)! So we'll keep you posted once that new feature is available.

I have deleted text that I can't recover and I am trying to open the last version of my Rise file where some of it may be saved. When I try to open the saved file, I get a message saying my computer is offline and the file won't load and open. Is there something I need to do to open saved Rise files? I am working in Chrome.
Hi Cheryl and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
You certainly need an internet connection to work with Rise as it is a web app used to create those responsive courses. You should be able to access them from https://rise.articulate.com/
- Did you verify your internet connectivity?
- Do you have an issue in a different browser?
Just pop in and update when you get a chance.

Hi Leslie,
Thank you for the response. Yes I do have internet connectivity and I am using one of the recommended browsers (Google Chrome). I still have had no success opening the file and wonder if other people have had the same problem. I have re-written the text that I deleted so accessing the file is no longer time-sensitive - however, I do look forward to a new "undo" feature that would function within blocks so that this extra work won't be necessary in future.
Thanks,
Cheryl
