Validation for Text Entry in Simulation (Screen Recording)

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to do a screen recorded simulation.  Most of it is fine, but there is a field where I do not want to validate the response, I just want them to enter their name and have that data pull throughout the rest of the interactive "form". 

I cannot edit the validation settings (to not have any) on the existing text entry, and it will not let me delete it, or use another data input field as interaction.  Any help?  This is an easy fix in captivate so I'm hoping there's an easy fix here too since I definitely prefer to do this through articulate!
