Verifying - it is not possible to access the point value of a question or the total points possible of a quiz as a variable
I'm pretty sure this is still true, but it kind of blows my mind as to why this can't be surfaced as a built-in variable for a quiz with a results slide.
on every question i give a point value for a question, and then the total points possible is based on the points of those questions.
i have two use cases where this would be an expected value
1) student needs to score let's say 70% on a quiz and not all question values have the same point value - the only way for me to tell them what each question is worth is to manually (uGH) type it on each question - which means i can't use a simple master slide for questions and import loads of questions and go. i have to manually edit every slide AND make sure that if points change, the slide changes.
2) Similarly in an assessment where the student gets questions from a variety of modules, we want to tell them how they scored on the related questions out of how many - so you got 3 out of 5 questions right on module 3. i can tell them the % they got right, but i just want the simpler numbers.
I could work around it when the pass rate and the point totals worked out nicely so that i could calculate points possible based on the passing %, but this doesn't work where the pass % doesn't work itself out to a whole number.
Is there already a enhancement request for this (make points per questions/points possible a variable )?
