Video essentially freezes, and audio is silenced
Has anyone had a published course that while in the midst of the watching, the video will freeze and the audio goes silent while running in Google Chrome or Edge? (The content appears to run through fine while using Firefox). I am baffled as to how to correct this issue. Any advise or solution would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning,
I'm having the exact same issue - however, it's the opposite way around, with the browser (issue is occuring in Firefox).
Was there a quick fix?

Hi Ron!
This can be quickly resolved by re-encoding the video on that slide using an application called Handbrake, a free video editor. You can also do the same on your end by following these steps:
1. Download, install and open the HandBrake app. You can download the installation file here: https://handbrake.fr/
2. Drop your video file on the HandBrake app. Or, click Open Source on the ribbon and import your video file.
3. In the summary settings, mark the Web Optimized box. You can leave all the other settings as they are.
4. Click Start Encode on the ribbon to re-encode your video.
That's it! Insert the new video file into your e-learning project and republish the course.Let me know if that does the trick!

I'm getting the same issue. I have a 2 hour video and it freezes after 70 minutes. It's an .mp4 video file that was screen recorded in Zoom.
I've tried encoding it with Adobe Media Encoder, but I get an error message in Storyline that it isn't a supported video format. What are the supported video formats if not .mp4 (h.264)? Does it need to be a specific frame rate?
