Video of the template in the SCORM
Hello everyone,
I’m happy to let you know that we’re no longer seeing the issue in Rise 360 where replaced media files in Real Content courses were still included in the published output.
If you encounter this problem again, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll be more than happy to help!
Hey everyone.... Same issue on my side too. This same issue can be found in ANY of the 'real content' modules. We ran into the same issue on around 14 of the 'real content' modules thus far.
We are limited to the size of SCORM files that we are allowed to upload to our LMS (Success Factors Release: 2405.20240729034522). For this reason, we then extracted the embedded videos, compressed them using Adobe Media Encoder and 'replaced' the videos with the compressed versions.
When the lesson is published (LMS, SCORM 1.2) with the smaller (compressed) videos, the module ended up being larger than the original. We then investigated and found the same rbc folder that @judit found and noted that the 'original' videos are still there as part of the lesson even though we 'replaced' it on our side. So the SCORM file now contains the compressed video files + the original video files.
We then tried unzipping the published SCORM file, deleting the 'excess' / 'unused' videos and compressed it again to zip. We then tried to reupload the zip file to our LMS and the LMS returned the following error: "Imported zip does not have valid content files."
Thanks.
