White Slide With Red "X" When Attempting to Text in Storyline
While building my course in Storyline, all of the sudden, when I click in a text box, the slide turns white with a big red "X" in it. From researching previous E-Learning Hero discussions, this has been a problem for quite some time. The only cure is to start a new Storyline project and then import the slides from the previous project. This is a real pain and very time consuming, plus, after a while it does the same thing in the new project! Can anyone help determining what is causing this and how it can be fixed?

I'm sorry you're experiencing crashing when using Storyline!
A few suggestions to try:
- Are you working from a local hard drive? We don't recommend working with files on a network drive.
- Have you attempted to repair Storyline 360? Here are the instructions.

perhaps the error is documented in the log files
open in windows file explorer
%LocalAppData%/Articulate/360/Logs/
-> Storyline_STABLE_yyyymmdd_hhmmss.log
send these files to articulate, when you open a case
