Why is Slide Duration Not Visible
+1 for this feature request. In the meantime, it is possible to display the timeline duration using JavaScript.
Since modifying the tooltip visibility on hover over the timeline (seekbar) requires more complex customization, a more practical approach is to extract the time values and pass them into Storyline variables. This allows you to display them in a fully customizable way matching your course or slide design, or formatting them differently as needed (as shown below).
I’ve already implemented this using JavaScript. However, the result doesn’t look very clean when it’s just placed in a corner of the slide. I think having this built directly into the player would provide a much more polished and user-friendly experience.
