WTH! STORYLINE 360 keeps just closing
I am not sure what is happening, but I am about to lose my mind. I have a very complicated variable filled course that I am trying to finish. All of a sudden it just closes. What is causing that, and what can I do so I won't lose my ever loving mind. Thank you for any help you can give me ASAP.

Hi Nicole,
Any bug fixes released to Storyline 360 will also be released in Storyline 3's next update. We don't have a release date for that yet, but as soon as we do, we'll let folks know that it's available.
Thanks for checking in!

Hello. This is a somewhat old threat, but today I just applied an update to SL 360, and guess what, it crashes just like described a year ago.
So I guess that in this case an update of the software isn't a solution.
Any ideas?
Thanks for contacting our support team as well, Ulises. I can see that you're working with Ronaziel directly.

Hi Liz,
I'm sorry Storyline suddenly closed on you! I know that's incredibly frustrating, and I'm glad you reached out and opened a case with us.
I see my teammate, Lianne, was able to identify an issue with the logs you sent and replied with some helpful tips. Be sure to let her know if it helped or if continued troubleshooting is needed. You're in great hands!

This is happening to me as well currently. On all different files. Was fine all day and BAM, every course I’ve ever made crashes(I’ve tested a bunch of courses to make sure it wasn’t a corrupt file) - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest software and also remove my temporary files. Anything else I can try? I’m desperate and have to get the files to the client today!

Just an update - after some trouble shooting, I figured out every time I had Microsoft word opened, Storyline would crash. I need the word doc to copy from, so I converted it to a PDF and it stop crashing. Very weird, but glad I figured it out.

I am also having this happen to me on multiple computers and multiple files. Does anyone know what the actual problem is please? I have tried all of the above, uninstall and reinstall, save on the C drive, turn off the internet, save as a template, try again and nothing is working.
Hi Areum!
It looks like there are a few different scenarios described in this discussion! Let's start with understanding if there are similarities in all of your projects! For example, themes, fonts, graphics, slides, etc.
Next, we'll want to test your file. Can you share your file with us? If so, here's a private upload link. We'll let you know when we receive it and reply with our findings.

Do you have any other programs open when this happens? Did you delete your temp files?
Hi Shawna!
I'm so glad you found the solution! Please keep us updated if you run into a similar snag!

this product just keeps crashing. If I try to cut and paste from the notes of 1 slide into the notes of another it just crashes.
Every second or 3rd time I hit control s to try to save my work it gives me an error saying I can't save because of some other process or some such. And this just keeps on happening. I've only been using this product for about a week and it's errored and not let me saved my work about a dozen times and easily crashed about half a dozen times in just the last few days.
ARE ANY VESIONS OF THIS PRODUCT STABLE?
Hi Thomas,
I'm sorry to hear about the constant crashing; that's got to be frustrating. Let's get that sorted out!
I've looped in our Engineers by starting a support case for you with all the relevant info you've provided here and in your other discussion. A confirmation email should be in your inbox, and our team will be in touch with the next step.
