XLF file
Does anyone here also face the below challenges with translation while using AI tools to translate the XLF file generated by Rise?
- The excessive number of tags in the XLF file makes the review process very time-consuming and demanding
- When the translator try to process the file to remove the tags, the translation remains poor, with segments where the translated text has little to do with the original.
It's happening for the German language.
This is the current workflow that I normally follow:
- The client extracts XLF files from Rise 360.
- They upload them to Crowdin.
- The files are translated using AI.
- We receive the files for light post-editing.
Any recommendations on handling these files to enhance translation quality and streamline post-editing, the best CAT tools or TMS for this file type, or a more effective approach I could suggest to the client to optimize the process?
