Zoom Picture: How to remove the magnifying glass image from the graphic?
I'm using this Zoom Picture feature of Storyline and at the same time, I include an instruction text for the learner to zoom in and zoom out with a different graphic (e.g. a camera). In this case, I want to remove the default magnifying glass image from the graphic.
Is there any way to do that?

Hi, Nancy.
You can remove the Zoom option from the picture by clicking Picture Tools > Format > Zoom Picture:
Let me know if this is what you're looking for!
Hi Deepak,
There is not a way to remove the magnifying glass icon on the zoom picture set up. Maybe you'd like to see at creating your own custom zoom picture set up as detailed here.

There is a way but it will make your images larger so may not work for you, double click the image and then choose crop, increase the crop area beyond that of the image (in effect you are adding a transparent area) you can drag this transparent area beyond the slide which is where the icon will show
Interesting workaround Phil - thanks for sharing that here. Learning something new everyday.

Ashley it is one of those strange things that none would ever work out unless they had to. It won't work in most courses but had to do it once for a client who hated the icon

Phil, you're a clever one. Nice trick.
I love fixes like that though Phil!

Has this changed in upgrades? I should be able to remove the zoom picture icon if I decide not to use it. I have to re-import the picture and re-place it if I can't remove it.
