Restrict navigation in Rise 360?
Jan 19, 2022
I believe I can restrict a learner from progressing in a Rise 360 course until a required action is completed, like watching a video. Is there a way I can require the learner to complete a Multiple Response Knowledge Check before progressing through a Rise 360 course? Ultimately I'm building a brief list of action items the learner should have completed before completing the course. Some of the items are outside of the course however, so I'm thinking a multiple response listing all the items should do it. Is there a better way? Can I set the course to require completion of a Multiple Response Knowledge Check to advance? (see sample screen shot)

Hi Karen,
In a Rise Lesson, you can add a CONTINUE divider block below your Knowledge Check blocks.
There are three settings for a CONTINUE divider block:
So choose either option 2 or 3 depending on your situation.
Option 2 and 3 will require the student to answer a Knowledge Check block, but the CONTINUE button will enable whether the question is answered correctly or not.
Thank you for being so helpful. Option #2 sounds like best fit, how do I require they complete that block correctly?
Hi Karen,
You cannot force students to correctly answer the Knowledge Check question before moving on.
As I said, the CONTINUE button will enable whether the question is answered correctly or not.
