Engage 360: Publishing an Interaction to Presenter 360

Add media-rich interactions to your e-learning courses by publishing your Engage 360 interactions to Presenter 360.

Preparing Your Interaction Size and Player Colors

When your interaction is part of a Presenter 360 course, we recommend using the same slide size in Engage 360 and PowerPoint. If they're different, the interaction will be centered on the PowerPoint slide and, if necessary, scaled down to fit within the slide.

If an interaction has different dimensions than PowerPoint, the slide background color from the Presenter 360 player will show around the interaction. To change this color, do this:

  1. Open your presentation in PowerPoint.
  2. Go to the Articulate tab on the ribbon and click Player.
  3. Click Colors & Effects on the ribbon.
  4. Click Show advanced color editing.
  5. From the Edit item drop-down, choose Base >> Slide Background.
  6. Use the color selectors to choose your background colors.
  7. Click OK.

Tips:

Publishing an Interaction to Presenter 360

  1. Click the Publish button on the Engage ribbon.
  2. When the Publish window appears, click the Articulate Presenter tab on the left edge.
  3. Select the PowerPoint presentation into which you want to publish your interaction. Only presentations that are currently open will display in the list. If the presentation you want isn't listed, click the ellipsis (…) button to browse for it.
  4. Decide how you want your interaction to appear in the course. Select either of the following:
    • Insert as a slide in the presentation: This option creates a placeholder slide in your presentation. When you publish your course, the interaction will display where indicated by the placeholder slide. (You can move the placeholder slide anywhere in your presentation by dragging it to a new location.)
    • Insert as a tab in the player: This option adds a clickable tab to the top bar of your course player. Learners can click it at any time to view the interaction. (You can change the location and order of tabs on the top bar of your Presenter 360 course player. Learn how.)
  5. If you need to adjust your theme colors, click the hyperlinked text to open the Interaction Properties window where you can select a different theme. Click OK to return to the Publish dialog.
  6. If you need to change the playback mode, click the hyperlinked text to open the Interaction Properties window. Select a different mode and click OK to return the Publish dialog.
  7. Click the Publish button in the lower right corner to complete the process.
  8. When the Publish Successful window appears, click Close.

Setting Interaction Properties in the Presenter 360 Course

After publishing an interaction to Presenter 360, switch over to PowerPoint. The Quizzes and Interactions window will be displayed, where you can customize the properties for your newly published interaction.

If you inserted the interaction as a slide, it'll open to the Engage Interactions tab. If you inserted it as a tab on your course player, it'll open to the Player Tabs tab.
