Hi Is anybody having an issue with the screen recording feature? I have added a screen recording to my project using the 'try it' feature so it presents as a system simulation, however when completing the actions e.g clicking on a hotspot, the screen recording action will play, but then flash back to the start frame before moving onto the next slide. This doesn't make it flow very well... This hasn't happened in the past so I'm under the impression it's a software glitch?Solved242Views4likes20CommentsIssue with Exporting and Importing Translations in Rise 360
Hi Team, I'm facing a translation issue in Rise 360. I followed the three localization steps shown in the video link: https://training.articulate.com/videos/rise-360-translate-your-course Make a duplicate of this course Exported the course text as an XLIFF file from the course duplicate (see attached Export Translation.png). Imported the translated text file (see attached Import Translation.png and Import Successful Message.png). However, after importing, the course content in the source file is still displaying in the original language rather than in the translated language (French). Here is the review link for the Demo for Translation (French) course link: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/89d886bd-a841-4ae9-8403-617c59891281/review. I've also attached the Demo-for-translation-french.xlf file, which contains the French content. Although I see the "Import Successful" message, the content does not update to French. Note: I have selected French from the Custom Course Labels dropdown under Labels, which applies to the French language in the player but does not affect the course content. Could you please advise on best practices for exporting and importing translations?78Views2likes2CommentsAI TTS and SSML functionality
Hello everyone, I would like to bring the attention of the community on AI TTS and the limited use of SSML with it. I know that it is not supported because you built AI voices "to understand the relationship between words and adjust delivery accordingly". However, AI voices mispronounce acronyms and other words like company names and such. By saying that I am forced to use the old TTS voices, and it is a bit upsetting because the AI voices sound indeed more natural and "human", big benefits in e-learning for ensuring a more pleasant learning experience for our users. This is a request to work on SSML for AI voices because I strongly believe it is needed. AnnaError message when creating a review link.
I have been trying all morning to create a review link in Storyline. Hasn't been an issue in the past. I'm getting an error message that states "Something went wrong". I've tried doing a save as, publishing from my desk top and from my shared drive. I continue to get that message. Can anyone provide assistance as to what might be happening? Hi, We have recently upgrade the storyline latest version (Build 3.92.33293.0) and we seems some changes in javascript. Earlier we had only user.js file to each slide script calling for jump on other slides. but after upgrade we can see the ExecuteScript moved to seperate file which is trigger.js file to execute the script on case basis. we noticed that trigger.js file having ExecuteScript calling only once while we cached clear and page reload but second time we just reload page its doesn't calling ExecuteScript from trigger.js file. we have added alert into ExecuteScript function it gives prompt on first time only. Can you please look into it and provide the solutions?64Views1like3CommentsAlternate Language button
Is Articulate looking at creating a button that can be put on a slide that allows you to switch to a different language for the course. It would be cost-effective for customers to have one course that housed multiple languages so the LMS system used to deliver and track training records does not charge to host multiple versions(different language options) of the same course material. For example, I would create an English and Spanish version of a course. On the first slide, a button labeled "Spanish Version" with instructions to click here for Spanish would allow a learner to easily switch from English to Spanish. Another option would be to have the English slides followed by the Spanish slides and an action button still labeled Spanish version would allow the learner to jump to the Spanish slides. When the "Spanish Version" button is selected the course will display the Spanish slides, not the English slides. Is this a viable option to auto translating feature for all the courses?
