Hello, I'm new to Articulate Rise and wanted to ask if others have successfully created branched courses. I'd like to add a role selection at the start, so that based on the chosen role, learners are shown different lessons. My challenge is figuring out how to disable or hide lessons that don't match the selected role. Has anyone found an effective way to do this? Thank you.35Views0likes3CommentsAbility to Copy/Move Microlearnings to Courses
In Articulate 360, it’s possible to copy or move a lesson from one course to another, but there’s no equivalent capability for microlearning content. 🙄 Instead, users are forced to rebuild microlearning content as block templates every time they need to reuse it in a course, which is both inefficient and unnecessarily time-consuming. 🤬 This gap creates avoidable friction in what should be a straightforward workflow. Enabling the ability to copy or move microlearning content into courses would be a simple but high-impact improvement that would remove a lot of frustration and redundancy. Rather than focusing heavily on AI features, it would be great to see attention given to strengthening these core content management capabilities that directly affect day-to-day productivity. I am sure I am not the first person to share this feedback. Thanks for your time and consideration! 🙂8Views0likes0CommentsAI TTS and SSML functionality
Hello everyone, I would like to bring the attention of the community on AI TTS and the limited use of SSML with it. I know that it is not supported because you built AI voices "to understand the relationship between words and adjust delivery accordingly". However, AI voices mispronounce acronyms and other words like company names and such. By saying that I am forced to use the old TTS voices, and it is a bit upsetting because the AI voices sound indeed more natural and "human", big benefits in e-learning for ensuring a more pleasant learning experience for our users. This is a request to work on SSML for AI voices because I strongly believe it is needed. Anna701Views3likes15CommentsEmbed Youtube Video - Error 153
Hello, Has something changed in Storyline?! I'm trying to embed a YouTube video using "iframe". I'm copying the embed code from YouTube, but it says 'Watch video on Youtube - Erro 153...'. I used: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dqaN76shzJE?si=F_NwSZruLu5BJAU6" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe> Any/all help would be appreciated. Just talked to a former customer who went to Mindsmith because of the lack of innovation in Rise over the past four years. Groups like Maestro are filling in the gaps but I'm curious if others are leaving Articulate for competitors because of similar sentiment. I hope not. I spent the last year learning Rise and Storyline. Hoping this discussion prompts a conversation that gets engineering's attention and where we might hear about the future. ANNNNNDDDDD - everyone is doing AI innovation. What other features besides integrating with AI partners can we look forward to in the near future? Excited to hear more!599Views1like15CommentsStoryline slide stuck loading
I'm having an issue where reviewers (both in Review360 and in my LMS sandbox — we're using Cornerstone) are getting stuck on a specific slide with the three loading dots. Refreshing the page (in Review360) or closing and resuming the course resolves the issue. When looking in Review360, the screenshots that the system auto-collect show the next screen, implying that the transition is successful on the "back end" but this doesn't display to the learner. I've seen the posts about results slides — that isn't applicable here. This slide is built from a template used 2 other times in the course — the issue is always on the last one, never the other two. It seems to only happen to each user once per platform, so testing is tricky. I'm using a hotspot as the trigger to change slides. The trigger is of the form "when the user clicks 'HS_Confirm1': Set (variable) to (other variable), Jump to slide (slide) if (other variable) =/= (blank)." See screenshot below. This trigger setup is identical to the slides that are working properly. The slide that is being loaded is also a copy of the slide that gets loaded in the other scenarios — the only difference is that the other 2 have video or audio that plays when the slide loads and this version does not.81Views0likes2Comments80091007 error when installing Storyline 360
This just started happening with (Build 3.114.36620.0) on Windows 11. This happens whether we try to install from Articulate 360 desktop or directly from the Storyline 360 downloaded app. I have logs enabled, where shall I send to?Solved123Views0likes7CommentsSeekbar functionality issues on slides with "Resume to Saved State" layers
Hi everyone, I’ve run into an issue with the seekbar behavior. I have a slide where the layers are set to Resume to Saved State. When I revisit the slide after moving forward in the project, the seekbar doesn't track correctly. If I try to move the seekbar, it seems to control the base layer objects instead of the content on the current layer. Has anyone encountered this "overlap" issue before? I’ve attached a .story file to show what’s happening. Please review the attached file regarding the tabbing and question screens. On the question screen, the layers are failing to maintain their 'visited' state upon revisiting the slide; instead, it only displays the base layer. I would appreciate your help in ensuring the previously viewed layers remain visible when returning to this screen. Please let me know the best way to fix this glitch so that the seekbar accurately controls the active layer when the slide is revisited.AI Assistant & Localization in Rise- WONDERFUL!!!
I have created two courses using AI Assistant and Localization, and I am over the moon excited! The process was so very time-consuming, and the translation, per my language expert checker, was spot on! I’m a department of one supporting multiple car rental brands in 28 countries. Hooray for Localization! At least for the Spanish translation. Working on my third course now, using AI Assistant and Localization. I could never have produced three interactive courses in two different languages before these new enhancements in Articulate 360, in under two weeks. Never, never, never! Thank you, Articulate 360 team, not just for the two enhancements, but for making them very easy to use. You certainly kept it simple, streamlined, and focused on your user audience’s needs. AI Assistant is not an ordinary AI Assistant. It is a Trainer’s AI Assistant! Okay, Luminaries, you have another Articulate 360 cheerleader! (smile)🤩 Pat The Trainer119Views0likes2Comments
