133 TopicsIssue with SCORM loading on SuccessFactor
Hey all, We have a client who is using a RISE SCORM 1.2 on SuccessFactor. The client needed a profiler in the course so we have built a standard HTML landing page using index.html which launches into 5 different RISE SCORMs. The course doesn't initialize until a profile is selected. This works when we load the course onto SCORM cloud, however when the client tries to launch the course once they click on a profile which should launch the course they get Initializing error messages which I've attached. I think its worth noting that this package worked for them back about 2 years ago. My thought is that their LMS and RISE are both trying to initialise the course and its causing an error. Is there anything I can do about this? Can we turn the initialising off in a SCORM package in RISE? Or any other suggestions.37Views0likes5CommentsResume Issue — Course Starts at Mid-Slide Where Quiz Trigger Is, Trigger Doesn’t Fire Again
Hi all, In my Storyline course (SCORM 1.2 on TalentLMS), I have a trigger to jump to a quiz at 45 seconds on a slide. After completing the quiz, the learner returns to the same slide. The player is set to “seekbar drag after completion.” Problem: When the learner resumes the course, it starts at 45s, where the jump-to-quiz trigger is located, but the trigger doesn’t fire again and the quiz doesn’t appear. The learner is stuck, and the seekbar remains locked. I’ve tried using a True/False variable with a “Jump to cue point when timeline starts” trigger, but it doesn’t run on resume if the timeline starts in the middle. How can I ensure the slide behaves correctly on resume? Ideally, it should skip ahead or complete the slide if the quiz was already done. Thanks!41Views0likes2CommentsCourse Results stay with user if moving teams
We have team members moving teams regularly and once you take them out of the team, if the course was allocated via the team it removes the course from the user profile. This result should stay with them even if they move teams. Workaround is not assign courses via teams, but would be good to have the option to allocate via a team.19Views0likes2CommentsPossible to transfer Rise content between team accounts?
Hi there, I am currently part of a larger team account with around 100 members. In the future, the company is wanting to move 5-10 of us to a smaller separate team account. Are we able to transfer Rise content from the larger team account to this smaller team account? I was able to find some information of transferring between members on the same team account, but not between accounts. Is this possible? Thanks!SolvedMissing courses in Team Folders
Hello! My team has set up a hierarchy of folders within our Articulate team folder, and we've assigned all team members as Managers in the Share Settings for each folder. According to the User Guide, "Inherited permission is when the folder automatically adds the share settings from the parent folder," so I expected that everyone would have access to all the content within these folders. However, that's not what we're seeing. Some team members can only view a few courses, even though many more exist in the folder. Is this expected behavior? Or am I misunderstanding how team folder permissions are supposed to work? Thanks in advance for any insights!14 languages in SCORM package
I have created project using articulate 360 in English languages. I have used same English course and converted into multiple languages with XLIF. I have given unique naming for trigger, image and layer for each languages. While integrate in single file trigger, image and layer naming changing automatic and additional trigger also added in new integrated file. Also getting functionality issue.Articulate 360 Teams: Replacing a Lapsed Subscription
If your Articulate 360 Teams subscription lapses, you'll lose access to personal and shared content. To restart your service and regain access to that content, you’ll need to contact us by filling in this form. In this article, you'll learn what happens to your team members and content when you move to a new subscription after a lapse and how to complete the process with our help. Has it been six months or more since your subscription lapsed? To comply with privacy regulations, Articulate deletes customer data and content six months after a subscription ends. Data and content can't be retrieved after that point. For more information, please review Section 12 of our terms of service. What to Expect Request a New Subscription What to Expect We'll coordinate with you to process the new subscription. At that time, we'll transfer all team members and their content to the new subscription. The transfer is seamless. Here's what your team members can expect for their user accounts, local project files, online personal content, and online shared content when joining the new subscription. User Accounts Team members will have the same Articulate IDs (email addresses), passwords, and online content that they had before the lapse. Local Content Storyline 360, Studio 360, Replay 360, and Peek 360 projects saved on users' local computers stay there. Team members can access those files again once they join the new subscription. Online Personal Content We'll transfer the Rise 360 content and Review 360 items in each team member's personal folders to the new team. Personal content is associated with a user's Articulate ID, so team members will have access to all their content and keep assigned collaborator roles when the transfer is complete. Online Shared Content We'll transfer all shared content from the lapsed subscription to the new one, including: Rise 360 content in team folders Rise 360 shared block templates Rise 360 shared question banks Storyline 360 shared team slides Review 360 items in team folders Team members will have access to the same shared content as they did before the transfer. Reach 360 We’ll manually transfer the users, groups, reports, and content contained in your lapsed Reach 360 instance to your new subscription. Please note that there may be a delay between the activation of your new subscription and the transfer. Since the original data overwrites any data in your new Reach 360 instance, we recommend waiting until you have confirmation of a successful transfer. Request a New Subscription Here's how to request a new subscription to replace a lapsed one: Find the subscription number for the lapsed subscription by referencing past order confirmations or renewal notification emails. (If you can't find the subscription number, reach out anyway. We'll do our best to get you set up.) Determine which previous seat holders will join the new subscription. Open our Subscription Changes form. Click the Request dropdown menu and choose Other (Add comments). Use the Comments field to submit the information from steps 1 and 2. We'll walk you through the process from there. Our team will: Create a new subscription to replace the lapsed one Transfer users and their content to the new subscription Explain how to find transferred content I manually added users to a new subscription, and now they can't find their shared content. What do I do? No problem! If you started the reactivation process on your own, we can still help you transfer the shared content to the new subscription. Hello, It was great catching up with one of the Articulate team at the excel L&D tech event yesterday in London. It gave me the opportunity to explore everything currently possible with the platform from an AI perspective before we look to include it in our package. (It's looking likely, it's a great addition to the platform, kudos to the team for implementing it!) I just wanted to pass on some suggestions and ideas I discussed with I think Charlotte, but forgive me if I misheard! I enquired about some automation capability with AI, in regard to building courses more efficiently which I understand is not currently possible. I thought I'd suggest it here to hear from the community and share it with you. For example: Template matching: Allow users to create and setup a "Templates" area that a bot can duplicate. Example use case: Creating large assessments with group branding, buttons, states and iconography in just a few clicks. I could upload an excel of the questions I would like to add, assign it to one of our pre-created templates and it will add in all the details for me and save a lot of time with formatting and editing slides. I could make sure the excel provided certain details such as: The question Any answers Feedback Graded Question Type Attempts Add to question Bank (Yes/No) Question Bank Name Assessment Name (For courses with multiple assessments) This could potentially work in a similar fashion with other types of defined automated AI tasks "Articulate-d" Want to make a decision tree with company branding, button states and triggers already assigned? Just gather those data points and build it in a matter of clicks. How about setting up a suite of videos for a new product launch? Add in the videos you want to share and select a template. Sharing multiple documents for a particular subject to build a resource hub? Add in any type of file and select a template. The possibilities are endless! It could really help us work smarter and not harder and take away those often time consuming and tedious tasks that are really important to ensure consistency across the business. Looking forward to seeing what is possible in the coming years!16Views0likes1CommentLatin American Language - Translate
I have several courses written in Latin American Spanish. However, when I try to use the new Translate functionality, it does not recognize it as the Source Language and always appears as American (English). The other two Spanish options are: European (Spanish) and Mexico (Spanish). Is there any way to consider adding Latin American (Spanish)?
