Why does the course language label change to English after copying a course?
Hello heroes, we often copy existing courses in Rise and use them as a base for building new ones, updates or different versions. Most of our courses are in German and we give them the German label in the settings. But every time we make a copy of a course with a German label, it reverts back to English. This is kind of annoying, because we tend to forget this happens, and then users complain that there is "Please answer the question to continue" instead of "Damit es weitergehen kann, müssen Sie die Frage beantworten." (Because why would a copy of a german course suddenly have an english language flag?) Only the course owner can change this setting and that is not always the one who is currently working on that course (/working at same time as the one working on the course). My question: Is there a way to fix this? Like a setting that allows copied courses to keep their original language label? Or a way to give course Managers the rights to change language labels?Switching between languages in the LMS

Per-Language Images is now available in Storyline. 🎉 You can now replace images on slides, layers, and slide masters in a target language without affecting the source language! Previously, showing different images per language required building triggers; now it's a direct swap from the ribbon or right-click menu, no workarounds needed. Hope this might help some users - posted as a reply to another thread, but thought this would help share it furtuer I've created a simple tool to help with a specific bulk find and replace I needed to do in a Rise course. Its a bit of a work around, but it does streamline things somewhat. I succesfully bulk updated the US to UK English for a course I'm working on, which I've put as a preset, but you can add other find and replace commands. Just export the xlf file from Rise. Modify it in the tool then re-upload. I can add features if you want to request them, or if you find a bug, please let me now. Hi all. I have made an e-learning for my organization, in Dutch, it includes videos, that are included in the learning. Now I also have translated the course to English, nice and fast and easy to select languages before starting the course. Now, I have also created English videos. But when adding the English video in the translated version, it also shows in the Dutch versio, I was hoping for each language both videos could stille exist when selecting the language. Is there a way, that for each of the languages selected, also the corresponding videos are shown for the selected language?English state overwritten with changes in other language, quiz questions, storyline 360
We've come across a weird bug. Storyline 360 (version from 6/9 - we can't upgrade due to the closed caption issues in 6/16 and 6/23) File is in 10 different languages with English as the source language. I have question slides. Originally, answer options just had normal, hover and selected states. I added a disabled state to each option and set that as the default. Once audio is over, I set the states to normal. When I edit the disabled state for a non-English language and then flip back to English, the button now reads in that other language in the disabled (default) state! This is causing all kinds of grief and thank goodness we notices before delivering to the client. I should have to go back and recheck English when I'm adding another localized language to the file. Has anyone else experienced this? Know of a work around? Reported it as a bug? Any advice is helpful! Hi everyone, We're experiencing an issue with Storyline 360 courses published as SCORM 2004. For the Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese versions of our course, the Interaction Report does not display the Correct Response or Learner Response correctly. Observed behavior The course launches and functions normally. Assessment scoring is correct. Correct/Incorrect status is reported correctly. The Interaction Report correctly displays: Interaction ID Interaction Description (Question Text) However, the Correct Response and Learner Response fields do not display Chinese characters. Chinese characters appear as underscores/blank lines (e.g., __________). If the response contains English characters, only the English portion is displayed while the Chinese characters appear as underscores. Example Expected response: 範例 ABC Displayed in the Interaction Report: ______ ABC Additional information Storyline 360 Published as SCORM 2004 Issue occurs in both Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese versions. The French version of the same course reports interaction responses correctly. The issue affects both the Correct Response and Learner Response fields. Interaction ID and Interaction Description are displayed correctly. Assessment score, completion status, and Correct/Incorrect results are all reported correctly. Has anyone experienced a similar issue with Chinese (or other CJK languages)? Is this a known Storyline limitation, a Unicode/encoding issue, or is there a recommended workaround? I want my data on an EU server but that seems impossible. I started using Articulate 5 years ago. Than there was no EU server. I did build courses and now I could not send a copy of a course to a customer I builded the course for. I see it as my content and I want to migrate to a EU server. But this is a service that Articulate does not offer. Does any now how solve this? Or perhaps some experts of the organisation can solve this for me.
