Clearly the Localization Validation tools are great for other languages, but why don't they exist for the published English version? These tools and their capabilities for simplifying the review process would be great for any course, no matter the published language. How about some support to get those validation tools implemented as standard to Review 360?26Views4likes1CommentClosed Captions in Rise
Hi! We have a Rise project that includes multiple videos as steps in the lesson. Each video has an audio track and CC, but when we play the video, we have to toggle CC on for each and every video. Have we missed a way to toggle CC on for all videos in the lesson just once? Also, when adding the CC, we're only adding English, so is there a way to make that selection 'sticky'? Thanks!16Views0likes2CommentsTranslate Freely with Articulate Localization—No Sign-Up Needed

HELP! I created a file and localized it with English/Spanish. I published for review. It went great. Now I need to make a similar file, so I started with my existing file and made a copy of it. Made a whole bunch of changes, updated translations, etc. But when I go to publish to review 360, it wants to publish to the original review. But this is a NEW file. How do I fix this? Do I have to start over every time with a non-localized file and redo all the formatting (getting rid of scroll bars, etc) again? I should always be able to publish as a NEW review when I want to. Please advise.200Views0likes9CommentsRise: Problems publishing localised courses
Hello, I’m reaching out for help because I’ve run out of ideas on how to solve this issue myself. We translated a Rise course into four languages, and for the past three days I haven’t been able to export the localized SCORM packages. What’s interesting is that I can export the English version of the same course, and I can also export localized versions of other courses. However, with this particular course, I simply can’t get the export to work. I should also mention that a colleague successfully exported everything from this course about a week ago without any issues and without using any special settings. I’ve already tried clearing cookies, exporting from a different account, opening the course in another browser, creating copies of the course, and similar troubleshooting steps. Do you have any idea what could be causing this problem? Many thanks in advance 🫶 P.S. I have problems publishing any of the items of localised versions: LMS, Web, PDF, Quick share :-(54Views0likes4CommentsLocalization issues with Greek in Storyline 360?
Is anyone else localizing from source of English to localized in Greek as well as other languages in the same file? We're running in to a few issues with Greek. I have a file that has now 10 languages in it: English, Chinese-simplified, Czech, French-France, German, Greek, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese-Brazil, Spanish. The two issues When I run the layout issues finder, it keeps claiming there are issues with a number of Greek text boxes. They sometimes look a little funky , like text is spaced out, but mostly they look fine There are no scrollbars added as the layout issue finder is claiming. And on publish, run locally as well as in SCORM cloud, they are just fine. On my client's system, No matter which language my client picks, upon exit, they see the exit message in GREEK! The lesson displays in the proper language. It's just the Exit message that's messed up. It should be "The content is over. You can close this window." for English for example. I have mentioned both to support but they don't have any idea what's going on even though I've sent videos and explained repeatedly. I thought others might be running in to the same issues. Since both are only occuring with Greek, I'm suspecting something may be wrong with Storyline's Greek translation module/software/feature. Thanks for any insight, -- LoriSolved67Views0likes3CommentsWhich actions use localization tokens?
We noticed a couple of errors in the EN source when the verifiers were checking other languages that were corrected. If I click on "Update Translations" will it use more tokens? I cannot find an explicit answer to this in the Articulate tutorials or discussion boards.29Views0likes1CommentEnglish state overwritten with changes in other language, quiz questions, storyline 360
We've come across a weird bug. Storyline 360 (version from 6/9 - we can't upgrade due to the closed caption issues in 6/16 and 6/23) File is in 10 different languages with English as the source language. I have question slides. Originally, answer options just had normal, hover and selected states. I added a disabled state to each option and set that as the default. Once audio is over, I set the states to normal. When I edit the disabled state for a non-English language and then flip back to English, the button now reads in that other language in the disabled (default) state! This is causing all kinds of grief and thank goodness we notices before delivering to the client. I should have to go back and recheck English when I'm adding another localized language to the file. Has anyone else experienced this? Know of a work around? Reported it as a bug? Any advice is helpful! Thanks, Lori57Views0likes3CommentsLanguage selection screen doesn't reappear
I just exported a SCORM package from Rise with a multi-language option. When testing it in the LMS, I noticed that the language selection screen doesn't reappear once you exit and re-enter the course. Is there any additional setting I need to enable? I’m asking because, in another SCORM I tested a few days ago, it did allow me to select the language each time I reopened the package. Please, I need a quick solution, the client is wating for the package. Thank you :)91Views0likes5CommentsMigration to EU server
I want my data on an EU server but that seems impossible. I started using Articulate 5 years ago. Than there was no EU server. I did build courses and now I could not send a copy of a course to a customer I builded the course for. I see it as my content and I want to migrate to a EU server. But this is a service that Articulate does not offer. Does any now how solve this? Or perhaps some experts of the organisation can solve this for me.
