6 Super-Creative Uses for Rise 360

I just love the resourcefulness and creativity of my fellow e-learning pros. In my experience, when they see a way to help their organizations save time, money, and hassle, they dig in their heels and get a little creative with their apps and skills to get the job done.

So, it’s no big surprise that folks are getting loads of work done using Rise 360. Not only is there very little learning needed to create a project with Rise 360, but with an Articulate 360 Teams subscription, you can also collaborate with other team members, building and editing content at the same time to develop critical projects even faster. And when you’re ready to roll all that content out to the masses, you can export your Rise 360 project for the web or for your LMS. This means you can use Rise 360 to create all sorts of digital resources, like procedure manuals, product specs, glossaries, toolkits—you name it—and host them wherever it’s easiest for your audience to get to them.     Hello Trina,
    I'm a Rise newbie, but I love using it. So I've converted a couple of our conceptual documents to a more interactive format with Rise. The problem is learners cannot save their Knowledge Check work if half-way finished and they need to exit. When they return, all learner work is lost. Can learner work in Rise not be saved?

Do you happen to know if the issue with unsaved Knowledge Check answers happens when they're interrupted mid-way through a lesson and have to stop and return to the lesson later on, or if it happens after they've completed all of the questions in a lesson and then later return to finish the course?

    Hi Trina, We've had one instance of the former where someone completed a quiz and then the computer froze and he lost his work. Mostly it's the latter. I was given to understand that you cannot save responses to Knowledge Check after I had posted to you. This was during a Rise webinar. But I was curious as to why you would not be able to save responses in a quiz.

      Hi again, Christabel. With regard to lessons with knowledge check blocks, here's my understanding: if the learner suspends the course while inside the lesson with partially answered Knowledge Check questions, it is expected behavior that the learner will resume at the beginning of that lesson and their responses will not be saved. However, if the learner suspends the course after they've completed a lesson and answered all Knowledge Check questions, their answers should be saved. So, to summarize, if you stop in the middle of a lesson, you lose progress in the lesson, which includes entered responses. This logic would also apply to quizzes as I understand it.

      If I'm not correctly interpreting the issue you're seeing, or if you'd just like someone here to take a closer look at this, let me know and I'll open up a support case on your behalf.
