Player Not Saving Audio

I have been working on a file from my desktop and have recently been experiencing an issue where I update the audio, but when I go to publish the file in Webview it reverts back to the old audio. The first time I thought I maybe didn't save things properly so I make the edits again, saved, published and BAM, they reverted back. I knew about the issues with network weirdness so I definitely have it saved to my C drive directly on my desktop.

I met with my team to troubleshoot and the only thing we wondered about is that I worked on the file intermittently throughout the day. I do have the settings to have it auto save every 10 minutes, but is there any known issue with that being a hinderance.

Open to any and all suggestions or ideas!

  • Hi Stephanie,

I'm sorry you're having an issue with your audio not updating! Here is an article with some steps to help troubleshoot this issue.

If the problem still persists, would you be willing to share your file here or with our support engineers privately in a support case?

    Thanks for reaching out!

I'm having the same issue.  The audio has now disappeared when publish to review and it does not show in my PPT articulate tab.

        Hi Angela!

So sorry to hear you're also experiencing issues with audio disappearing when publishing to Review 360!

I have a couple of clarifying questions to help me get a better understanding of your setup first:

I'd be happy to take a closer look at your file and test the behavior on our end.  Would you be willing to share your file here or with our support engineers privately in a support case?

  • Has Articulate come up with a solution for this? I'm having the exact same issue. It's obviously a bug that needs to be fixed. Why have the option to edit audio in the program if it doesn't actually save the updated file?
