I am trying to create a Matching Drop-Down Quiz which has more answers (Matches) than questions (Choices). I have included a screenshot to illustrate. I cannot figure out a way to do this in either Form View or Slide View, hope someone can lend a hand.
Just put a space (tap the space bar on your keyboard) in the cell on the left. If you want to add another empty cell beneath, you can put two empty spaces in that one. In fact, I often don't want anything on the left so I just put spaces in the cells in the column on the left side of the form view table (see attached).
I think this is not possible using the current Storyline version. But you can do this by doing a Pick Many Quiz with a customized Drop Down Matching. See the attached file below.
The matching drop-down question format requires a one to one relationship...one drop-down box for each answer choice. Daniel's solution is one way to work around this, however.
I have a question about the sample storyline build above. I noticed that there is a "Custom" option in my state options which lists triangle, square and shape. How was this built in to the options the slide?

Hi Will! Looks like Steve has popped in to assist you here.
Hey Steve. I want to do the opposite here. I would like to have more choices than answers because I want a few distractors. Can you help me?

Just add a down arrow for the drop-down list.

Thanks that is genius. A little more than I wanted to do, but works perfectly.
Glad that it helped.
Hi there,

Looking forward to your insight.
Hello Metrix,
Thanks for reaching out with your question. Were you able to open the .story file shared above?
It looks like that drop-down opens a layer. I'll re-attach the project for you.
