Can not program the next button to advance to next scene - HELP!

My next button will not advance my course to the next scene.  This is what happens:

Scene 1 has 11 slides.  Slides 1-10 all advance with the next button as programmed.  The last slide, slide 1.11, will not advance to Scene 2.  I have tried the following unsuccessfully to correct:

1.  When the user clicks next, jump to slide 2.1

2.  When the user clicks next, jump to Scene 2

3.  Jump to slide 2.1 when the timeline ends

4.  Jump to scene 2 when the timeline ends

5.  Deleted all triggered and re-created them all

6.  Copied Slide 1.10 (that works perfectly), copied and replaced the slide with all of the images from Slide 1.11 to 1.10 and re-created the triggers

7.  Moved Slide 1.11 into Scene 2, making its new slide number 2.1.  Then triggered Slide 1.10's next button to Slide 2.1

8.  Duplicated slide 1.11, creating a slide 1.12, and then have new slide 1.11 trigger to Scene 2

9.  Duplicated slide 1.11, creating a slide 1.12, and then have new slide 1.11 trigger to Slide 2.1

10.  Created a new scene 2, copied the slides from old scene 2, pasted in the new scene 2, and tried to trigger from slide 1.11

Where do I go from here?  I am on a timeline, and this problem just appeared on Friday!!!!

I forgot to mention...I tried the interaction in Review 360 at each attempt to correct without success.

      Hello Sarah!

We are happy to help! It sounds like you've done a good bit of troubleshooting on your own. Can you share the .story file with us? It can be hard to tell what the issue is without testing the file on our end.

For the future, if you are on a timeline, the quickest way to reach our Support Engineers for technical support is by submitting a support case.

      I'm sorry for the trouble!

  • Sounds like possibly a corruption problem. Sometimes those can be solved by creating a new project, and importing the slides from the original project into it.
