Embed Video from web on layer...

I have an info-graphic that i am converting to interactive via storyline and here is my dilemma:

I have web videos that pop up as layers and at the conclusion of each video, I would like the user to potentially branch to more videos from that layer and onto another layer where they will have the option to choose more videos from the author or close the layer and select another hotspot. If i were working with native video files this would be easy but I am using embedded web code form a media server and so the video acts slightly different than mp4 files would in storyline. Anyone out there have any experience working with inserting and controlling web video in storyline. 

If not, I may have to just use native mp4 files but was hoping not too so I could preserve HD quality of video.
