Making a dull subject interesting

Hey Guys,

I'm having a bit of a creative block as such.

I am creating some e-learning on Holiday Law which isn't the most exciting of subjects and am trying to think of ways to bring it to life and keep it interesting for the user who will be primarily sales/service based.

I thought of perhaps using a video in the e-learning and basing it around the circle of a holiday, i.e researching, booking, going etc but its a bit obvious. Has anyone done anything similar with a heavy subject and could possibly share some ideas with me?
