Resume Function doesn't work

Mar 21, 2023

Hi there, I have a program packaged for SCORM 1.2 and it runs in a Moodle LMS, but it's not allowing users to pick up where they left off if they don't complete the course in one sitting. It has 7 modules always takes them back to Module 2 - even if they've completed it already. It doesn't remember where they left off by the looks of it. I've checked every slide for something that's not set right, but they are all set the same.

I have read through all the other posts to see if I can find an answer, but none of the solutions apply, or I tried them and it doesn't change anything.

People are getting so frustrated... including me!  Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? Thank you. Kate

SCORM 1.2 hat a limit of 4096 chars for the resume function - this is to small for many courses made with storyline

SCORM 2004.4 has a limit of 64000 chars, but Moodle does not support SCORM 2004

but in Moodle the LMS admin can override the limitation

admin > plugins > activities > disable SCORM called "SCORM 1.2 standard mode"
