I'm getting this one with alarming regularity on a large project. I'm running Win7 and have 6gb of ram. Has anyone solved this problem by adding more ram to their computer? I'll do whatever it takes...
Praise the lord, I was able to save my work using "Save As". Found that little gem from Brian in another thread. But the question remains. Is adding ram likely to help when I already have 6gb?

I see a case you submitted recently similar to this issue, and my teammate, Cleo, responded with some suggestions. Did you receive that email? Let us know if not, and I'm happy to resend it. Then we can continue communication in your case, so all that info is in one spot!
If you're backing up or syncing files/folders to cloud storage such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or One Drive, temporarily disable automatic syncing of the files as this can cause conflict or erratic behavior.
Hi I am not able to save my storyline file after 20 minutes. Message showing "project can't be save not enough memory". But computer have 16 GB memory and 1 TB hard disk with window 11 updated version. This problem was coming in window 10 also. Is someone can help me out.
As Steven mentioned above, we don't recommend working with files on a network drive. On that same line of thought, if you use a folder that automatically syncs with OneDrive, Dropbox, etc., it could also cause issues, so we usually recommend disabling the auto-sync to avoid erratic behavior.

I had problems during the beta, I added 4gb of ram, would love to say I havent had the issue again but I have just less often.
I dont think it is RAM related though, if I check system resources often I have RAM free and it wont save
Hello, I would like to start this discussion again because I have a customer who receives the same error message with a computer of this power :
Processeur : Intel® Core™ i3-8100 CPU 3.60 GHz
Mémoire RAM : 16.0 GO
Type du système : système d’expoitation 64 bits processeur x64
Windows 10
I don't have the impression that the power of the computer is at fault. Does anyone know more about this ?

Hi Becca,
Are you able to publicly post the resolution? I'm having the same memory issue in a 10MB project on a laptop with 16GB ram.
Thanks for following up, Kayneisha, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ⭐️
I don't see that we heard back from Gregory confirming that our suggestions fixed this for his customer, but I'm happy to share them with you:

I was having this issue a while back and found that it only happened to me when the home to the project was on a Network Drive.
I now save my projects on my desktop while I am creating them and once completed move them to my network drive. I have not had this error since
