Slide Triggers not responding the same in desktop preview and tablet preview

Jun 28, 2022

We have created slide triggers to  hide the "next" button when the timeline starts on a slide and then to set the "next" button to normal when the timeline ends on a given slide.

However, after uploading a PPT to articulate the functionality as described above only works when previewing with the desktop but does not work with any of the mobile devices.  I've attempted to change hidden to disabled and it is the same issue.

We exported to the LMS which has capability to use either a desktop browser or an iPad app.  We have the same issue in the LMS as in the preview using Articulate 360.  Our end users utilize their iPads so this will be an issue.

I was able to remove all slide triggers and the "next" button while viewable is acting as if it's disabled until the timeline ends, which is great.  However, we are not able to get to the course completion slide now because the next button is disabled/hidden unless their score is high enough.

Any help?

Hi, Ty.

Thank you for reaching out!

If you can share your .story file either here or privately through a support case, we're happy to investigate what's happening and help you troubleshoot.

I also want to share the article below, as you might consider using restricted navigation to accomplish what you're looking to do instead of manually creating triggers:

I hope this helps!
