Board Game 1-6 players
Hello all,
We conclude each week with an engaging activity to assess our students' knowledge, such as a test, quiz, or interactive module. Among these modules is a board game designed for 1-6 players that we would like to share.
Initially, players select the number of participants, followed by choosing a name (up to 8 characters) for each player.
The game commences with the first player spinning a wheel to determine their next move. There are fifty spots on the board, each associated with one of five categories.
Upon landing on a new spot, the player must answer a question corresponding to that category. A correct answer allows the player to advance, while an incorrect one sends them back to their previous position. After answering the question, it's the next player's turn. The game concludes when a player correctly answers a final question upon reaching the finish line.
Questions are randomly selected from their respective categories. After answering a question, the quiz resets, ensuring unpredictability when another player lands on the same spot. The number of spots a player moves is also determined randomly using JavaScript. While the wheel spinning is merely an animation, the image aligns with the randomly chosen number.
Please note, most of the text is in Dutch. Feedback or other comments are always welcome.
