Reporting variable value back to LMS

Hello,

I am building a self-assessment type questionnaire, where the learner score gets recorded in the variable "SelfScore". I came upon this article Articulate 360 - Storyline 360: How to Send the Value of a Variable to an LMS/LRS - Articulate Support

Can someone please review and confirm if I am on right track? Also, is there any advice on extracting variable and reporting to SuccessFactors(LMS).
