Copy all of the slides including layers and triggers
Jan 29, 2013
To whom this may concern,
I wanted to ask how can I create a menu that will be able to copy all of the slides including layers and triggers?
I made a courseware and I want the learner to navigate himself. The courseware I made includes 51 slides and it demanded from me to create the menu in each slide from the beginning, copy each layer and link a new trigger on every slide.
For example, initially I make the slides with the content and than I link all the slides on the main page and on the main menu, when I copy the menu to another slide it pasts without the layers and I need to link each trigger.
I attached a file to give you an example.
Thanks Daniel.

Hi Daniel. Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
A fairly quick way to do this is to import the slides from the course that contain the layers and triggers. While you have the course open, click on the Articulate menu in the upper left-hand corner of Storyline. Click on "Import" and "Storyline". You can import from the same project. Select the slides you want to use and insert them into the same scene, or a new scene. This method should copy over the layers and triggers that you have in place.
Let me know if this works for you.
Thanks!
This can work if the menu is constant, the problem starts in case of adding a new sub menu, and if its a big project like 50 slides, i have to link this sub menu on all slides, 50, and copy the new layer (i want the learner to navigate himself wherever he is on the project).
