360 Review not allowing external reviewer comments

Anyone else getting this issue - external reviewers can't enter comments (link is set to anyone with the link - no Articulate account required).

Was working fine last week.

Thanks

      Hi AmiKotak,

I just now tested the feature to confirm if it works, and on my end, it does. We're also not seeing any recent reports of the issue from other users. I recommend opening a case with our support team here and sharing the email addresses of your reviewers so we can check if they are linked to existing Articulate IDs. If they are, this would explain why your reviewers are being required to sign in before being able to leave a comment.

I am now encountering this issue. My reviewers are unable to leave comments unless entering an email and a password? I've tried clearing the cache, using different browser, etc.

      Hello ScottFoster

Thanks for reaching out. I want to confirm that this feature is working on my end. We aren't experiencing any other reports of this.

As my colleagues have recommended earlier in this thread, I suggest opening a support case and sharing the email addresses of your reviewers. That way, we can check if their emails are currently linked to existing Articulate IDs.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Eric, I have the same issue occurring today - Reviewer without an Articulate license does not have the Comments window at all. What have I missed?

Eric - I cleared my Edge cache for the last 24hrs, reopened the Review360 course, and selected Disable Comments then resent the Link to the User (without an Articulate license). The User could then enter comments. Pics below...

        Hi VonChenery_1,

I'm glad to hear that the user is able to leave comments now!

I wanted to quickly clarify that you mentioned you selected disable comments, but your screenshot shows they're enabled. You'll likely want the comments enabled if you're having the course reviewed!

  • Having this issue this week. Wondering if anyone else is also experiencing this concern?

      Hi HetlenaJohns538,

      I'm happy to help!

Are you seeing that the comment field is disabled? One thought is if a user hasn't clicked the play button at the start of the course, they won't be able to leave a comment. The course must be playing before they can comment. This ensures that the appropriate slide is associated with the comment.

If the play button has been clicked and the issue persists, it'd be helpful to see a copy of the file for further testing. You can share it privately in a support case and we'll delete it once troubleshooting is complete!

Hi there, we are noticing the exact same thing happening this week with select outside reviewers. Most of my reviewers' comments are coming through, but today one person was unable to leave their comments. Additionally, my coworker had the same thing happen with just one (different) outside reviewer earlier this week. That same reviewer was able to comment on my course. Do you have any ideas?
