64-Bit Storyline 360
Is there a way to access a 64-bit version of Storyline 360? I noticed what I have installed through the 360 suite is only 32-bit and I'm finding that I may be reaching a ceiling with performance while developing my courses. I click on pretty much anything in the app and have to wait a full second before Storyline 360 responds. This has slowed my production down significantly. I was wondering if there's a way to get a 64-bit version or if anyone is having a similar issue.
Thanks
Hi Everyone!
Great news! I'm happy to share that we just released Storyline 360 (version 3.82.31354.0), which includes a new 64-bit version of Storyline 360! Harness the processing power in modern computers with 64-bit Storyline 360. Large, media-rich courses benefit from increased stability and faster performance!
To use 64-bit Storyline 360, please update your Articulate 360 desktop app, then click the Install button next to the Storyline 360 app with the 64-bit and beta labels. The Install button will change to an Open button when the installation is complete.
This was highly requested, so we hope it serves you in your course creation! If you run into any snags, don't hesitate to contact our team in a support case.
Thanks, Rob.
I've linked your feature request as well as your feedback to the report we are currently tracking.
I appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

Hi, its listed in your system requirements but I can't find information anywhere on the website. Is 64 bit available now?
Hi Mirical!
We haven't released any information on a 64-bit version of Storyline 360. Thanks for checking in!
Thank you for that context, Travis.
We'll definitely take note of this and share it with the right team. As always, we welcome folks to start a conversation with our Support Engineers for a closer look!
Hi Eric, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
This feature has not made it on our roadmap yet. This conversation is attached so that we can share any updates with you here in the future.

Hi Leslie, thank you for responding. I'm still getting this error sometimes and lately happening more and more. Right now I made some updates to a large project and I can't save it. I don't know what to do as I don't want to close the program without saving and lose all my work. Seriously need to go 64 bit. Considering how much money between all the licenses we have and all your other clients pay, I can't believe Storyline isn't 64 bit yet.

Hello Eric,
Oh no, I'm so sorry you're facing this. I see you were working in a case with my teammate Carlo. We're you able to try the steps Carlo recommended as a next step? I made a note in your case that you're still having trouble, and my teammate will reach out soon to follow up. Stay tuned; help is on the way!

I tried the steps and they do not work. The only thing that appears to work is if I save a different file name.

Hi Ren,
With the greatest of respect, this isn't a desire for 64-bit, it's an essential need. Users have been asking for this for a very long time as more of us hit that ceiling of performance. The time for advocation and evaluation are long passed, in my very humble opinion, and it is now the time for action.
Many of the solutions suggested to "work around" the limitations of the application either do not resolve the situation or cause the author to carry out tasks that further delay or hinder the development flow.
This thread started 4 years ago. We hear the same excuses today as we did then. Many of us moved to the Articulate 360 program in the hope that it would support further improvements and allow us access to rapid deployment of fixes such as the one required here. And yet, we often get new features that are welcome but seem to add to the burden of running a 32-bit app in a 64-bit environment.- TravisSlusserCommunity Member
Checking back in to see if the 64-bit version has made it onto the official 'Articulate' road map yet?
