Adding audio to a Rise course that has a continue button

We've picked out a bunch of the Rise real content courses and are tweaking them and adding audio, both to make them 508 compliant and for people who just like audio. There are places that have Continue buttons, so the participant has to complete the above content before continuing. So when there's a knowledge check question, I add an optional audio block above to read the question and the answers, and I've been adding an optional audio block below; however, we have realized that makes the audio mandatory. As a workaround, I'm moving the feedback below the continue button, which works, but is pretty awkward. The long-term solution is for Articulate to build audio into all interactions including questions, but does anyone have a better short-term solution?
