Adding Navigation when Reviewing slides
I am fairly new, so I'm hoping someone can help me. I have disabled navigation on the Storyline player so that learners cannot rapidly advance through the scene. This seems to pose a problem only when reviewing the quiz slides. There is no way to proceed.
Is there a way to add navigation buttons only during review of the quiz slides with the navigation still disabled? I've attached the .story

You can create a layer called Review on your question slides and add custom navigation buttons (previous/next) to that layer. They will only appear during the review.

You can take a look at this article for additional information on the review layer. However, if you create a new layer called Review, Storyline will, by default, only show it when the user is reviewing the quiz, so there's no additional step you need to take.
I created a short Peek 360 video showing you the steps I took when creating the navigation arrows on that layer.

Another way is to not disable the controls, but instead just remove the Next and Previous buttons from your content slides (the little gear in the bottom right). I also cleaned up the Player and got rid of the title, etc. so it has a similar look to what you had without the controls. You'll notice that when you answer the questions there are no next/previous buttons (but there is a Submit button) but that the Previous/Next buttons are there when reviewing the slides.
A little bonus trick - instead of just selecting the quiz slides to preview, I put a hot spot in the upper right corner of each of the content slides with a trigger to jump to the next slide when clicked. That lets you skip through the slides quickly and get to the quiz. I like to do this on slides that have videos when I am building a course (and especially for branched courses) - I can review the whole course for flow without waiting for the video to finish. When viewing the course, just hover in the upper right corner and the cursor turns to a hand - that's where to click. I then remove it before publishing the course.
