AI Tutor showing as Currently Unavailable in Course
Hi All,
We recently discovered the AI feature and have had some success, but today we got an message stating that the AI tutor is currently unavailable. Is this a known issue that is being resolved or something we should be aware in turn off in launched courses so learners do not see this?
Thanks,
Amanda

Interesting - I just used it with no issues in one of our courses. I wonder if something is blocking it locally.

Maybe, I'll check with my team to see if the issue is local to that course.

The status page doesn't point to any problem but an AI assistant in one of my Rise courses returned the same error.

Yeah the issue is happening for me. The AI tutor was working when I published the course in Cornerstone (LMS) this past Friday but on Monday I started getting reports that it's no longer working and giving the same message.
When I preview my course in Articulate Rise, the AI tutor works but still doesn't work in the actual course within the LMS. And again it did work last week in the LMS when we uploaded it.
Is there a know issue around the AI tutor not working in Cornerstone or other LMS? Any suggestions would help.

I have the same issue with a course in Workday.

Noticing the same issue when I try having SMEs try it out using a Quick Share link. Last week it worked. Same behavior on Chrome and Edge browsers.

We are seeing a similar issue with AI Tutor and Quick Share publishing - when enabling AI Tutor in the course settings it appears as toggled on but then previewing the course to check, the AI tutor isn't visible and upon return to settings AI Tutor is toggled off. We can't seem to successfully enable it and this was not the case several weeks ago.
Thanks everyone for continuing to flag this, and sorry for the radio silence while we've been investigating on our end.
For those of you who reported AI Tutor showing as unavailable, AmandaSchust054, CydWalker_mwh, AlejandroMaya-1, HeidiWoodruff, we're still actively looking into this and wanted to check in directly. Are you still seeing that message today?
TriciaWigmore, thanks for adding your report as well. What you're describing, the toggle reverting to off after you enable it, sounds like it may be a related but distinct issue from the "currently unavailable" message others have seen, so we want to make sure we're tracking it correctly on our end too. A couple of quick questions to help us dig in, are you publishing via Quick Share, an LMS, or both, and does this happen on a brand new course or one you've edited and republished? Also, which browser are you using?
Any updates you can share, even "still broken" or "seems fine now," genuinely help us narrow this down. Appreciate everyone's patience while we get to the bottom of it.

EricSantos it did show up later on for my SMEs when I asked them to view the functionality using a QuickShare link before publishing course for Workday.

Hi EricSantos, for us this is effecting an existing Rise course which we have edited and are then publishing to share as a Quick Share link. I'm working in the latest version of Chrome browser.
I have also tested a new course and the same issue occurs where the AI Tutor appears to be toggled on and enabled, doesn't appear in the course preview and when returning to settings it is toggled off again.
